Baracco chic means “Favela house” and when you go inside, you feel that you have entered a joyous and colorful residence on a Rio de Janeiro hillside. The two Brazilian sisters who opened the restaurant have decorated it with numerous typical products, multicolored objects and photographs of their homeland. To make sure that diners experience the “real” taste of Brazil, the head chef has even taught a Swiss butcher how to cut a special piranha steak! Don’t hesitate to ask for a “brigadeiro”, a dessert invented in the 1940s by “Brigadier Eduardo Gomes” to encourage people to vote for him. www.barraco-chic.ch/site/ |
